Who we are

This site is operated as KushTrades from the United Kingdom. The data controller is the publisher of this site. You can contact us at hello@kushtrades.co.uk.

What we collect

• Newsletter subscribers: email address, optional first name, the page you subscribed from, and any UTM parameters. Submitted to Beehiiv (our newsletter provider). We use these to send you the newsletter you signed up for. Legal basis: consent. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in every email.
• Analytics: we use Plausible Analytics (privacy-friendly, EU-hosted, no cookies, no personal data) and Google Analytics 4 (GA4) for aggregate audience reporting. GA4 is loaded with Google Consent Mode v2: all storage, advertising, and personalisation signals are denied by default and are only enabled if you select "Accept all" on the cookie banner. If you select "Essential only" (or do nothing), GA4 measures only anonymous, cookie-free pings.
• Contact form: name, email, and message content, used solely to respond to your message. Legal basis: legitimate interest.
• Server logs: standard web-server logs (IP address, user agent, timestamps), retained for up to 30 days for security and abuse prevention. Legal basis: legitimate interest.

Cookies and local storage

We use no marketing cookies and no cross-site tracking. We use first-party local storage to remember:

• That you dismissed the risk-warning banner or cookie banner.
• That you dismissed a newsletter pop-up (so we don't show it again).

You can clear these at any time via your browser's site-data controls.

Third-party processors

• Beehiiv — newsletter delivery (USA). Beehiiv is committed to GDPR compliance and uses standard contractual clauses for international data transfer.
• Plausible Analytics — anonymous analytics (EU-hosted).
• Google Analytics 4 — aggregate audience reporting (Google LLC, USA). Loaded under Consent Mode v2; storage and ad signals stay denied unless you accept the cookie banner.
• Sanity.io — content management (USA). Stores public published content only, not personal data.
• Vercel — hosting (US/EU edge). Standard server logs only.
• TradingView — embedded widgets. May set first-party cookies in iframes that you can disable.

Your rights (UK / EU)

You have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct it if it is wrong.
• Delete it (right to be forgotten).
• Withdraw consent at any time.
• Lodge a complaint with the ICO (UK) or your national supervisory authority.
